Read below for my policies on reviews, contests, and privacy.

I am currently accepting books for review. Books can be printed ARCs or finished copies, or ebooks readable on a Kindle or Kindle apps.

I mostly read & review young adult fiction, new adult, romance, and selected non-fiction.

  • YA: My favorite type of YA is Contemporary (think: Sarah Dessen, E. Lockhart, John Green, A.S. King), but I don't limit my reviews to that specifically -- I've really loved some dystopian/darker books recently (like Delirium, Divergent, and Ashes). High fantasy is usually not my thing.

  • Adult: In terms of romances and New Adult, I mostly stick with contemporary (think: Victoria Dahl, Bella Andre, Shannon Stacey, Jill Shalvis, Tammara Webber), but I also read and enjoyed Richelle Mead's Georgina Kincaid series and Sarah MacLean's historical romances. For adult fiction, I like women thinking, saying, doing awesome things (think: Jennifer Weiner, and anything as hilarious and awesome as Bridget Jones).

  • Non-fiction: I like food, games, politics, current events, home decor, technology, and some other things I'm forgetting to list right now. Books covering these topics are sometimes of interest to me.

I accept self-published books on a limited basis. If it's YA, NA, or romance, I'll consider it. If I read it and love it, I'm happy to participate in book launches, tours, etc. to help the book get noticed.

If you're interested in having your book reviewed, please send an email to storyboundgirl {at} gmail.com with all the necessary details, including the format in which you plan to provide the book, and anything else you deem necessary. I will reply to accept a copy of the book if I have the time necessary to read and review it, and if I feel it will be a good fit for the blog and my interests.

Reviews will be posted on this blog, Amazon, and GoodReads, and links to posts will be tweeted and shared on Facebook and Google+.

Please note:

If the book is not out yet, please let me know if you have a specific time you would like a review posted. Otherwise, I will post it within the month of release.

My reviews are honest, but if I feel my review would be overly negative, there will not be one posted. I'm not here to be a downer.

OTHER THAN BOOK REVIEWS: I'd be happy to set up a short author interview, guest post, giveaway, or spotlight for your book as long it fits in with the content and is something I feel comfortable supporting. (However, I won't promote a self-published book without reading it first.)

See individual giveaway/contest posts for the rules of a specific giveaway/contest.
