SINCE YOU ASKED

A humorous, debut novel about a Korean-American teenager who accidentally lands her own column in her high school newspaper, and proceeds to rant her way through the school year while struggling to reconcile the traditional Korean values of her parents with contemporary American culture.


When I saw this cover, I wanted to read the book right away. I love the bright colors on the cover & the fonts & the pink sunglasses. 

Then I read what it was about, and now I want to read it even more. Korean-American teen with traditional Korean parents? Schools newspaper? I'm there.

    I'm in. I love seeing how journalism is betrayed, even thought it's usually not very favorable.

    Ooh, I'm definitely looking forward to this one! And I agree- I love the colors of the cover and her cute facial expression! Looks like it will be a fun one!
